Thank you to everyone that attended the Spring Fair at The Three Counties Showground, Malvern on Sunday 7 April.
The event attracted hundreds of visitors from across the UK who were looking for new products, ideas and business boosting initiatives.
The Fair offered visitors the chance to meet a range of exhibitors from across the industry who were showcasing new and existing products and services.
Visitors also enjoyed the full line up of stage presentations including demonstrations from Sandra Monger, BIA Celebration Cake Maker of the Year 2012, Graham Dunton and Tim Clarkson of Dawn Foods, Malcolm Pyne, Pyne's of Somerset, and Eblex Master butcher, Dick van Leeuwen.

Special guest Christine Hamilton also presented a bakery and butchery business masterclass live on stage , with Mike Holling, chairman of the National Association of Master Bakers, and Russell Allen, managing director of Coventry-based butcher Aubrey Allen. The session answered questions on sourcing and the supply chain, in light of the horsemeat scandal, as well as looking at topics such as training staff, setting up a business and marketing.
Christine also took to the stage to announce the winners of the three competitions that took place at the Fair.
Natasha Fudge of David Jenkins, scooped the top prize for the Celebration Cake category in the National Association of Master Bakers Bakery Competition, for her creation inspired by the impending birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's baby. Alex Cowell of David Jenkins Ltd won the Young Trainee Category winning an all expenses training course at the Fabulous Brothers Bakery.
California Raisins also announced the four winners of its Bakery Competition, taking the top prize of a trip to California and Las Vegas, as well as the opportunity to display their winning bakery creations at the International Baking Industry Exposition in October.
The winners of the National Federation of Meat & Food Traders Meat Product Competition were also judged live at the Fair. With over 200 entries across 12 categories, independent craft butchers nationwide demonstrated their butchery skills. Adrian Jackson from Boxleys of Wombourne was named the Overall Supreme Champion for his Countryman Pie.
